The collective exists through the efforts of our members and volunteers. Here you can contact and find out a bit more about some of us.

Caspar Lampkin

I am one of the founders and my official role is that of treasurer, I also do a lot of the organising for events and courses, designing work and implementation of projects as well as training for volunteers. I have also supported the establishment of Embark Forest School and I volunteer with the sessions and help manage the woodlands where they take place.

I am self-employed as a Permaculture designer and implementer and I have extensive knowledge and experience with all types of building work and various moethods of vegetable and fruit cultivation which have been my passions since childhood. In particular, I have built a cob house, compost toilets, an underground house, thermal mass rocket stoves, bread ovens and saunas. In ecology, my strengths are bee-keeping, food forests, vegetable, mushroom and fruit cultivation, kombucha, sour dough bread and wine production.
